FARM

It all began on less than an acre on the outskirts of Boulder County. What started out as just a few chickens, a hoop house and some raised beds, turned into an obsession, a calling and a lifestyle.  Determined to minimize their carbon footprint and source all their food as locally as possible the Dunbars have brought these ideals to fruition.  They are currently raising their own beef, pork, lamb and poultry on their 16 acre Homestead in the breathtaking New Jersey countryside just one hour from New York City.  Stunning garden beds and glorious fruit trees complete their plan for sustainability and self sufficiency.  Learning as they go they are implementing regenerative practices and pasture management in a constantly evolving dance of stewardship of their land.  Although most is private consumption they do occasionally sell  grass fed beef, pasture raised pork and lamb and  free range chicken eggs.

Dunbar farm is mostly known for their curated events and intimate farm to table dinners.  Whether it is a coursed meal with wine pairings or a pig roast with a honky tonk band these experiences are one of a kind!  Utilizing local and seasonal  ingredients (if not their own) and a plethora of amazing chefs no two events are alike.  Primarily focused on building community and bringing people closer to their food these events are not to be missed!  Please join the mailing list to stay up to date with happenings on the farm!
